Hi! My name is Rahul Kuntala, a computer science graduate turned full time blogger. I make a living from blogging and my major blog is: Learn Blog Tips. If you want to make a full time income from your blogs, it’s for you.

More than anything, blogging is my passion. I deliberately choose it as my career after finishind my B.Tech not only because I wanted to be my own boss, but I’m passionate about helping others to make money.

Not really! Just like everyone else I jumped into blogging for ONE reason – to make money online.

Many! I think getting traffic to a NEW blog with zero online connections is a rocket science. Later I focused solely on building loyal readership with my content. It has helped A LOT in the long run..

You don’t have to be a tech savvy to become a profitable blogger. I know people with BAD (I mean very bad) writing skills are making decent income from their blogging efforts. It’s all about the connections that you build online. Networking is the KEY to successful blogging – try to connect with the influencers from the beginning itself.

8 months (from my blog LBT). I didn’t use any ads till then (I still don’t use any ads as my major income sources are blog consulting, blog writing and LBT program).

If you are a new blogger, I strongly suggest you NOT to focus on traffic. What’s the use of driving untargeted traffic to your blogs? Build readership first, traffic doesn’t come overnight, you have to learn to write SEO content to get quality traffic, and it does take time. I intially focused on social media to drive traffic to my blog, later I used forums like Blokube, Bizsugar and Blog Engage. They are great for the beginners.

No, I don’t use AdSense. It doesn’t work in every niche (especially in blogging niche unless you have an authority site). My major income sources are writing and blog consulting and I earn enough money from my blogging efforts 

In the beginning of my blogging journey, I used to spend a lot of time (more than 8 hrs/day). Now, I’m focusing on starting a small online venture, so I’m getting less time to blog.

There’s no success secret behind any profitable blog, it totally depends on your passion, consistency and the uniqueness you provide with the readers. I’ve many other blogs, but I blog anonymously.

Most people who read my content say – “Rahul, I REALLY love the way you write”.. may be it’s my unique selling point (USP). And I ONLY post when it becomes extremely useful to my readers, it’s why my posting frequency is such horrible (only twice or once a month – but they are extremely detailed posts about 1500 to 2500 words).

No. I don’t show any interest in them.

Find out your target audience first. And anticipate what questions your prospects might be asking. Find out their frustrations and problems and solve them on your blogs 

Any topic according to their PASSION. But narrow down your topics. You shouldn’t be writing posts all every topic under the sun, it’s extremely hard to get success. Try to pick one or two topics and write only about them.

It’s hard. If someone already has great connections with others, it won’t take much time to monetize his efforts, but when you’re new – it definitely takes time (more than a year) to earn decent income.

Don’t rely solely on Google traffic and AdSense – you end up earning peanuts from your efforts. Try to build loyal readership and boost your online presence, build a great brand to make your blog successful in the long run.
